Riga - the world leader in housing prices in the first quarter of 2010

A report issued May 26 report, research portal Global Propery Guide noted that in the first quarter of 2010 in Riga has the highest prices for residential nedvizhimots in the world - 10.7% in second place was Austria - 5.71% in the third Singpur - 5.38%, then Hong Kong - 4.43% and the UAE - 4%.

In total, the report presents data on 36 countries. In 19 of these prices in the first quarter of this year grew at 16 - fell. According to experts, this indicates that the global housing market is emerging from crisis. At the same time, some countries saw a significant drop in housing costs on an annualized basis.

Note that the Riga became the leader of this ranking, because it took into account data for the first quarter of 2010 compared to the last quarter of 2009.

The leaders of the quarterly decline in value are New Zealand - 4.54%, Iceland - 4.18% Ireland - 4.17%, Lithuania - 3.90% and Bulgaria - 3.70%.
